The poster on the left features BSE images and x-ray maps of a thin section of the Acfer 094 ungrouped carbonaceous chondrite. By using colors the locations of different kinds of minerals are recognizable. The refractory inclusions in the rock are evident; these calcium and aluminum-rich objects appear green, blue and purple. The poster on the right is a picture of a sample of a large (meter-size) section of the Campo del Cielo IAB iron meteorite; this impact-melted iron meteorite contains chondritic inclusions and was never part of an asteroidal core.
